Amber Plemons currently serves as Human Identification Lab Supervisor and faculty at California State University, Chico, Department of Anthropology. Plemons was a University Research Postdoctoral Fellow funded by the University of Kentucky Office of the Vice President for Research. Amber completed her PhD and dissertation, entitled The Interaction Between Genetics and Climate on Craniofacial Variation: Examining the Causative Forces of Macromorphoscopic Trait Expression, in the Department of Anthropology at Michigan State University. She worked on furthering this research through collaboration with the HEVA lab and the UK College of Dentistry throughout her tenure as a postdoctoral fellow.
