Dr. Reyes-Centeno nominated for UK’s 2026 Excellent Undergraduate Research Mentor Award

HEVA Lab director Dr. Hugo Reyes-Centeno has been named a 2026 nominee for the University of Kentucky’s Excellent Undergraduate Research Mentor Award. The award recognizes UK faculty members who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to mentoring undergraduate researchers, provided exceptional undergraduate research experiences, and supported and promoted undergraduate research initiatives on campus.

The winning Research Faculty Mentors will be announced at the Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars’ Award Ceremony on April 29, 2026.
